The East Danish Film Fund supports professional film, TV, and new media productions that generate economic activity, employment, and international visibility for Eastern Denmark.
The fund provides investment for feature films, TV series, documentaries and other audiovisual productions with a clear regional impact.
By attracting both Danish and international productions, the fund strengthens the regional film industry and promotes Eastern Denmark as a competitive production destination.
VISION

To establish Eastern Denmark as one of Northern Europe’s most attractive and competitive hubs for film and television production.
The fund operates according to the arm’s length principle and follows international best practice in public film funding.
Financial management, auditing and documentation follow standards comparable to those used by the Danish Film Institute.
